WILLINDA CLASSIC OPENS THE TRACK SEASON

Published Sun 25 Sep 2022

EARLY SEASON HARVEST AT THE VALLEY

With the 2022/2023 season of Track & Field athletics just around the corner, the Willinda Classic on Thursday 22 September offered 65 athletes the chance to gauge their level of fitness based on the Track events over 1000m, 3000m and 10,000m. The many athletes who posted personal best times or surpassed their target time so early in the season, will now be eager to go further into the coming Summer of competition. There was a good appreciation of the organisation of the evening’s competition by all who attended and the weather conditions were certainly ideal.
