VICTORIAN MILERS CLUB: Meet #4

The track temperature was hot at Aberfeldie for the VMC #4 meet but so was the form of the Valley middle distance crew.

Samuel Reeve and Myles Boyle, both 13, had their first outing for DVAC and showed their quality straight off with a 2:08.48 800m by Reeve and a 5:04.59 by Boyle.

There is a tidal wave of Valley athletes approaching the 2 minute mark for the 800m. Ethan Armstrong-Bourne led the charge with 2:00.35. He was followed by Thomas Short, 2:01.95, Joshua Fitzgerald, 2:04.74, and Brodie Batt, 2:05.89, who all registered personal best times.

Jordan Rudd posted his second 2:13 in just over a week. His best of 2:11 was clocked at the Nationals earlier this year. Joel Imbriano, 2:13.95, and Glen Imbriano, 2:08.97 did extremely after returning home recently from extended travels with their family.

Poppy Scot-Dalgleish, 5:20.88, and William Quigley, 4:47.60, both raced over the Mile for the first time and should be pleased with their result.

Grace Robinson clocked 2:33.32 for the 800m.
