Week 2 of the 2021 Victorian Track & Field Championships produced the best Gold rush for Diamond Valley since the original gold finding at Diamond Creek in 1863. Valley athletes stepped up on the podium to present themselves with the winner's medal on eight occasions. There were also three Silver medals and five Bronze medals won over the course of the second weekend of the Championships at Lakeside. Twenty seven DVAC athletes – 14 Women & 13 Men – competed in the 2021 Victorian Track & Field Championships held at Lakeside Stadium from Friday 19 February through to Sunday 21 February 2021. By the time competition ended on Sunday afternoon, the Valley athletes had won a total of twelve medals – 3 Gold, 6 Silver, and 3 Bronze.
