Fieke Van Der Kamp (WU20) unfortunately had to withdraw from the Women Under 20 Australian team due to injury. Fieke travelled to Bathurst with the team and was very much a part of the team environment despite having to withdraw. Her effort in making the team is one to celebrate and all at the Diamond Valley Athletic Club are proud of her and wish her a speedy recovery.

Maryann Murray, a member of the Australian Cross Country team on two occasions: 1994 – Budapest, Hungary & 1997 – Turin, Italy – was a guest of Athletics International & Athletics Australia at a special gathering to celebrate all of the athletes to have represented Australia at previous World Cross Country Championships. The World Cross Country Alumni Reunion was hosted by Anne Lord and the special guest was Lord Sebastian Coe.

The Diamond Valley Athletic Club extends it appreciation of these special achievements by Maryann.
