CLASS OF ’22 SHINES BRIGHT AT ALL SCHOOLS CHAMPS

The Diamond Valley Athletic Club has a rich talent pool of junior athletes that represented their schools over the two weekends of the 2022 Victorian All Schools Track & Field Championships. This wealth of talent is apparent when comparing the medal haul from the pre-Covid Championships of 2019 to this year. In both Championships there were 60 competing students over the two weeks of competition who were DVAC members, and in 2019 the medal tally was 24 while this year the medal tally was 38.

In week 2 of this year’s All Schools Championships, the 31 competing students (23 Women & 8 Men) who are DVAC members were awarded a total of 21 medals.

DVAC CLUB HELPERS WK2

DVAC filled all of its Club Helper Duty allocations over Weekend #2 of the Victorian All Schools Track & Field Championships thanks to:

Long Jump: Steven Meagher & Maryann Murray

DVAC APPRECIATES THE SUPPORT OF ALL CLUB HELPERS.

It was also good to see a number of the Valley community acting in their role as AV Officials at the All Schools Wk 2. These included Jeff Hughes, Rick Clarke, Andrew Stirling, Paul Schofield & Stuart Schnaars. Keira Sanchez was also busy in her role as a Cadet AV Official.
