Notes:

Katie Oliver is in rare form & posted her second fastest 100m at 12.28. Then in the 400m, Katie became the first Valley female to go under 60 seconds for several years with a run of 59.29. That’s a big slice off her previous best time of 61.15!

Riley Neecowen lowered his time for the 400m to 50.55 from the 50.83 he posted in November ’22.

Sugi Neecowen ran her second best 400m at 63.77.

Notes:

All good news at Box Hill on an ideal night for racing.

Jaryd Clifford, 3:42.81, and Tim Logan, 3:53.22, are hitting their straps early in the season and look set for some high quality racing over the next few months.

Rhodri Whelan lowered his best time for the 1500m from 4:56.12 to 4:50.03.

Lachlan Higgs ran a pb 4:17.61.

In the 800m’s, Ally Brooks (2:17.63) and Jarryd Cripps (2:04.77) both showed the benefit of having their second race for the week and seem headed for even further improvement.

In the 1500m races, Shania Murray (4:47.15) was the sole DVAC female athlete and Michael Martello (4:09.35) took the race on from the start.
